This is my go-to pulled pork recipe. Great as an entree or as a sandwich. Leftovers heat up well and the flavors actually improve over a couple days. Delicious!!

Absolutely positively finger lickin’ good!! I’ve made this twice and both times no a drop was leftover!! 5 mittens for sure!

This was fabulous! Served it with a side of black beans and yellow rice. Will be having the second blessings (leftovers) as cuban sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Just had leftovers for breakfast… definitely a keeper
We had 6 people over for dinner last night and everyone loved it. Served it with black beans, rice, grilled zuchinni and homemade ‘style’ corn tortillas added a wedge of lime and a splash of cholula. perfect. Thank you!

Have made it a number of times now, and we never get tired of this delicious pork. I always trim away as much of the fat as I can get to, and half the amount of salt is good for us. Fantastic recipe.

Made this last night and it was AMAZING and so easy. I didn’t have oregano so I used a Greek spice rub I had on hand and I had to substitute veg oil for olive since we had just run out. Still, it was fantastic and so tender. This will be a regular in the rotation for sure.

This was such a great dinner! For just two of us, this was yummy leftovers too! It was moist and flavorful. We did double the amount of marinade as it didn’t seem like it would cover all the meat. Loved it!

I made this as directed and served it was jasmine rice – squeezed some lime juice on it before serving and it was delicious!! I’ll definitely be making this again. Thank you!

Delicious and easy. I had left over sliced red peppers, so I threw them in the bottom of the crock pot too. It was wonderful!

Easy to make and went well with rice. Could use more flavoring. I plan to experiment with more seasoning next time.

This is wonderful! We made it on Friday and again on Sunday! We used the meat for several different recipes! Thanks for posting!

To die for! Just got my first slow-cooker and made this as my first dish. It was as easy as it sounds, and even more delicious than you can imagine. You do not need to add anything addtional to this dish! Just put on rolls and add coleslaw for an out of this world pulled pork sandwich. I couldn’t believe that so few ingredients could deliver the flavor that this recipe does.

I love Puerto Rican pork. This is going in the crock pot tomorrow before I leave for work. I can hardly wait!

Absolutely astonishing recipe. The whole house smelled good when we got home from work, and my husband went crazy over it. He has decided we must keep a pork shoulder in the freezer at all times so we can have this whenever the craving strikes, and it is so darned easy to prepare that I think he’s right! 2 t. of salt was plenty for us, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. You really don’t need to add any liquid, it is literally swimming in juice when it finishes cooking. Mine looked just like the picture. I’m so happy I saw this recipe. I will keep it forever and use it regularly. Thanks.

I made this for dinner this evening and it was amazing! This recipe is so simple but packs a huge, flavorful punch. My boyfriend loved it and spent the meal planning out all the meals he was going to make with the leftovers. Thanks for the great recipe! We’ll be making this again. And again. And again.

Love this! I’ve made it twice now, to rave reviews each time. I reduced the salt to 3 t the second time, but it was good both ways. I didn’t need to add any liquid to the slow cooker – the pork releases plenty of juices. After 8 hours of cooking, the juices almost came up to the top of the crock pot. I did flip the pork halfway through cooking (fat side up for the first 4 hours, then flip it) just so the whole thing would get good and juicy.
This recipe really lets the flavor of the pork shine. I ate it on a tortilla with caramelized onions.
