Description

A lighter version of a classic throw together meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • ½ cups Red Pepper, Chopped
  • ½ cups Green Pepper, Chopped
  • ½ cups Onion, Chopped
  • ¼ cups Celery, Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 can Tomato Soup (10.75 Oz)
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce(I Use Frank's But Use Whatever You'd Like)
  • 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ Tablespoons Cumin
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

1. Brown the ground turkey over medium-high heat on stove-top. Chop green pepper, red pepper, celery, onion, and garlic. Add to meat while cooking.

2. Add all of the rest of the ingredients into a bowl. Whisk together.

3. Once meat has started to brown and veggies started to soften, pour the bowl of additional ingredients into pan with the meat and vegetables. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Serve on rolls, buns, pita bread, flat bread… whatever your little heart desires! I use the Low-Carb, figure friendly pita bread. Bon Appetit!
