Description

Think sloppy joes with a taco/bbq flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • ¾ cups Bbq Sauce (any Brand, Any Variety)
  • 12 whole Flour Tortilla Shells
  • OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
  • 1 whole Tomato, Diced Or Thinly Sliced
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced Or Thinly Sliced
  • Cheese, Shredded Or Sliced
  • 1 whole Bell Pepper, Diced Or Thinly Sliced
  • Sour Cream, For Dipping

Preparation

Season the ground beef with chili powder and brown it in a skillet. Drain grease. Stir in the taco seasoning and bbq sauce. You don’t have to make this as wet as regular sloppy joes.

Spread meat mixture on one tortilla shell. Top with tomato, cheese, onion, bell pepper, ranch dressing, etc. Use whatever you like! Cover with another tortilla. Toast each side in a skillet until light brown. Dip into sour cream.

Eat.
Get fat.
Be happy.

Tried these tonight and they were really good. I cooked a red bell pepper with the beef and served the “sandwiches” with cheesy nachos on the side. My brother gobbled them up!

Deliciously different, and a HUGE hit with my family. Definately a repeat meal for us. I served them with a mexican salad.
