Description

A simple, yet delicious baked salmon recipe. I like to serve this with rice pilaf and veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Salmon Fillet
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • ½ teaspoons Dill Weed

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.

2. Grease a baking pan and place the salmon in it.

3. Salt and pepper the salmon to taste.

4. Melt the butter, and add the lemon juice, garlic, and dill to it. Whisk it together and pour it over the salmon.

5. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of your salmon fillet.

Note: Be careful not to overcook the fish! To check if it’s done, lightly press a fork in the middle. If it flakes easily, your fish is done.

Ooh, the white wine sounds delish! We also love to do the foil packs in the summer. :)

This is very similar to how I prepare salmon. I add some good white wine to your ingredient list. In the summer I prepare the salmon in a foil pouch and throw it on the grill so I don’t heat up the house with the oven.
