I made these this weekend and they are amazing! We ate them for dinner and then lunch the next day. All of the seasoning really made it tasty. I will admit that I cheated with the slaw. I bought a bag of slaw made the dressing with your recipe and added the granny smith apple. We used the left over slaw on hotdogs this past weekend too. Will make again for sure!!!

I made this dish as lettuce wraps instead of sliders and it was very good. The beef is incredibly tender and flavourful, although very, very spicy. Next time I would cut back on some of the jalapeno and chilies in adobo. The slaw helps cut the spiciness but it was still too much to handle.

I just made this dish today and it delicious! I cut back on one of the chilies in adobo because I am a little wary of too much spice and I think it was perfect! The slaw was delicious and I too bought a bag and added the apple and dresssing
Thanks for a great recipe!

These were good; we liked that they were a tad different than a usual shredded beef sandwich!

Very tasty- wonderful smokey BBQ flavor. I also used bagged slaw mix, but the slaw dressing was a hit with the fam. I left out the jalepeno and bacon- jalepenos to reduce spice, and bacon because we had already eaten what I planned for this recipe. I would say the prep is more than 20 minutes, but delicious!

These were incredibly tasty but a lot of work so probably only going to make it once in awhile. Everyone enjoyed and we were even picking at the cold leftovers. Thanks!

We really enjoyed this! I cut back on the peppers (just 1 chipotle, no jalepeno) because I don’t like spicy, but I will use 2 chipotles next time at the request of my husband who thinks I am a wimp, lol. (I am!) I thought this was easy to make and the prep time was accurate for the beef prep, but didn’t include the slaw prep. The 2lb roast didn’t make as much as I thought it would (lots of sauce left, not much beef), so I will use a bigger roast next time. I think the recipe would also work well with chicken or pork. I can’t wait to make this again! Delicious!

I made this a few weeks ago. I am so glad I did. I was in a time crunch and ended up having to sub a few ingredients for others that I had on hand, but the overall outcome was amazing. My proudest accomplishment regarding this meal was the bbq sauce. it really brings to whole meal together. i had quite a lot left over so I put it in a container and popped it in the freezer to use in the future. My one regret was that because I was short on time, I cooked the meat on high for 5 hours, instead of low for 8. My meat could have been more tender if I had roasted it all day. Next time, I will plan ahead. I loved the slaw. It was the first slaw that I have ever made or liked! My brother ate it too and so did my boyfriend. We all enjoyed the meal!! Thanks for the recipe Kelly! You rock!

Made this the other day and just now shredded the beef and warmed it all up in the juices. Very tasty and will make this again. The seasoning was sensational.

Looking to make these next week, but I’ve not worked with coriander before…do you use the whole seeds or ground?? THX.
