Description

An easy one-dish oven meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Russet Potatoes
  • ¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 2 cups 2% Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4  Pork Chops

Preparation

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Butter a 2 quart baking dish. Put sliced potatoes in dish. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper. Toss together in the baking dish. Pour milk over the mixture. Dot with pieces of butter.

Brown the chops in a skillet over medium heat (just until both sides are browned – they will cook more in the oven), and then place them on top of the potatoes.

Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover, and bake 15 minutes more.
