This is a very simple and tasty recipe. I loved it when I was a young housewife. Recently, I pulled it out again and my family loves it, too.
Chicken, cream cheese and crescent rolls go so good together. Serve with fresh green beans. Enjoy!
Mix cream cheese, pepper, chicken, mushrooms and green onions together. Place a rounded tablespoonful of chicken mixture onto the center of a slightly stretched out triangle piece of crescent dough. Roll up from the large end, folding sides in to seal.
Dip each roll into melted butter then in the crushed stuffing mix. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
Sauce: Heat cream of chicken soup and sour cream together to make a smooth sauce.

Im trying these tonight. I am going to make them ahead and then stick them in the fridge, so I hope they turn out. Ill wait to dip them in the butter and stuffing until right before baking.
