Description

This is a great 911 dinner/lunch recipe. Very versatile and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Pillsbury French Bread Dough, 13.2 Oz
  • 10 slices Ham
  • 10 slices Turkey Or Chicken
  • 10 slices Provolone Cheese, Or Any Other Favorite Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 whole Small Onion, Sliced
  • 4 Tablespoons Spicy Mustard
  • 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

Preparation

You can actually use any kind of fixins and condiments that you want! Deli meats, meatballs, cheeses, veggies—you can even use leftovers from the fridge! Be creative and have fun. Anything works with this sandwich!

Place a ramekin or small oven-proof dish in the middle of a cake pan. Spray it with cooking spray. Use both cans of dough to form a ring–be sure to press the ends together well. Bake according to package directions.

Once the bread has cooled, slice it horizontally and carefully remove the top. Layer on whatever sandwich fillings you so desire at the moment. Or whatever you can find in the fridge that does not have anything growing on it! {We homeschool—so, science experiments are sometimes in the fridge–this is a legitimate step for me!}

Place the top back on and slice into individual servings and enjoy! If you are taking this on a picnic or tailgating, wait to slice it until you arrive, it will travel better that way.
