Description

Don’t ask. I don’t know why that’s the name of this recipe. My mother use to make it and I’ve been making it for years. It’s quick and very easy.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Apple/grape/cranberry Juice (I Prefer Cran Grape)
  • 4 Tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 4 whole Pork Chops (bone-in Or Boneless)
  • 1 package Egg Noodles
  • 4 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 4 Tablespoons Water (or More Of The Previous Juice)

Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl for the sauce and set aside.

Brown both sides of the pork chops.

Pour sauce over chops, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Cook egg noodles.

Remove chops. Mix up the corn starch and water. Add it to thicken the sauce. Pour over noodles and serve with pork chops.

It was super easy. My kids ate the pork, but they didn’t care for the gravy. Weirdos…I could drink the gravy, it was so good! I also left out the pepper flakes, but if they aren’t going to eat it, I’m putting it in next time!!

Love it!. We made this for dinner tonight and it was great. I had dinner on the table in about 20 minutes. I love how quick and easy it was. We had it with rice instead of noodles and I cut back the pepper flakes a bit because I have a kiddo who is not a fan of the heat. Everyones plates were empty. Very tasty!
