Description

A lighter (and healthier) alternative to a simple burger! The garnish adds an extra kick of awesome flavor.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 5 ounces, weight Canned Salmon
  • ½ Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Onion Powder
  • ½ Tablespoons Parsley
  • 2 Tablespoons Panko Crumbs
  • Cooking Oil, To Cook Burgers
  • FOR SERVING:
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Dill
  • 4 slices Sandwich Bread
  • Honey Mustard
  • Sliced Red Onion
  • Arugula

Preparation

Mix your salmon in a medium-sized bowl along with all of the ingredients for the burger. Mix until well combined. It should be thick in order to help the burger hold together. Form into two patties.

Coat a medium-sized frying pan with olive oil (or cooking oil of preference) and let warm up over medium-high heat for a minute or two. Add in your patties and cook until golden brown on each side (about 30 seconds to one minute per side). Remove from pan.

Suggested way to serve:

Combine your butter and dill and spread across the slices of sandwich bread. Toast the bread in your frying pan that you used for the burgers until golden brown. Make sure to remove the extra oil first, if needed. Place your patties on the toasted bread (one patty per two slices) and garnish with honey mustard, red onion, and arugula. Enjoy!
