This is a recipe passed down from my mother-in-law many years ago. It is chicken cooked in a yummy sauce. Hard to describe but wonderul to eat! Very unique taste that even my kids love.
Wash, salt and pepper chicken and place in a baking pan. Mix all other ingredients (except noodles) well and pour over the chicken. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour.
While chicken cooks, bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles until done, drain and pour on a serving platter.
When chicken is done, place pieces atop egg noodles on the platter and pour sauce from the pan over all.

I make something similar to this but I add about 1/2 cup of peach or apricot jelly to it and I don’t use any water. I use boneless , skinless chicken breasts or tenders and bake in the oven. I am always asked to make this and am contantly giving the recipe out.

I am adding this to my line-up of recipes for next week – it looks like something I might be able to throw in the crock pot as well… will review it soon!
