Delicious comfort food.
1. Cook 2 cups of rice and 4 cups water in a medium saucepan (or rice cooker).
2. In a large skillet or dutch oven over low heat, cook sausage for five minutes.
3. Stir in onion, green pepper, and garlic; sauté until tender.
4. Pour in beans, tomatoes, and seasonings.
5. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
6. Mix rice into bean mixture and serve!
