Description

Quick, delicious and healthy Turkey Black Bean Chili! Perfect for those weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices Thin Bacon, Diced
  • 1 whole Sweet Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 20 ounces, fluid Extra Lean Jenni-O Ground Turkey
  • 28 ounces, fluid Crushed Tomatoes
  • 15-½ ounces, fluid Canned Black Beans, Rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoons Chlii Powder
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • Sour Cream, Avocado, Cheddar Cheese, For Garnish

Preparation

1. In a heavy-bottomed stock pot (I use a Le Creuset Dutch oven) over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crisp. Add in diced onions and garlic and cook until translucent or tender.
2. Add ground turkey and cook through until brown. Drain off any fat from pot and place back over medium heat.
3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, rinsed black beans and seasonings. Reduce heat to medium low and let simmer for 30-40 minutes.
4. Garnish with sour cream, avocados and/or cheddar cheese.
