Description

Melted cheese, perfect prosciutto and crispy kale. You can’t lose.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Havarti Cheese
  • 4 slices Whole Wheat French Bread
  • 6 slices Prosciutto
  • 3 leaves Kale, Washed And Destemmed

Preparation

Heat a large skillet over medium heat, spraying with Pam or other cooking spray. Heat a cast iron panini press over the element until hot. Or if you have an actual panini press contraption, use that.

Split the amount of cheese among the slices of bread. Cover cheese with prosciutto slices. Add 1 ½ leaves of kale to each panini.

Place on the skillet. Spray the panini press with Pam to avoid sticking. Lay the press over the sandwich and let sit until golden brown. If the press becomes cool, flip the panini and reheat the press over the element on the stove, pressing on the opposite side of the panini until golden.

When cheese is melted and bread is golden brown, remove, serve and devour.
