Ingredients

  • FOR THE SLAW:
  • ½ cups Grated Jicama, Skin Removed Before Grating
  • ½ cups Grated Radishes
  • ½ cups Grated Cucumber
  • 2 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Mayonnaise (heaping Teaspoon)
  • 2 dashes Pepper
  • FOR THE SANDWICH:
  • 2 whole Pretzel Bread Sandwich Rolls
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 8 pieces Sliced Turkey (or Your Favorite Meat)
  • 8 pieces Sliced Black Forest Ham (or Your Favorite Meat)
  • 1 whole Large Tomato, Sliced
  • 4 pieces Sliced Swiss Cheese

Preparation

For the Slaw:

Put the grated jicama, radishes and cucumber in a bowl. Add remaining slaw ingredients. Stir all of the ingredients together and set aside.

For the sandwich:

Cut the bread lengthwise but not all the way thru; leave the bottom-most part of the bread uncut and spread open both pieces.

Spread the mayonnaise and mustard on both pieces of bread.

Roll 4 pieces of ham and 4 pieces of turkey in a wide loose roll and lay across both pieces of the roll.

Lay the tomatoes over the meat and add a couple dashes of pepper.

Slice the cheese into ½ inch to 1 inch wide strips and lay over the tomatoes.

Stir the slaw one more time.

Add the slaw on top of the cheese.

Repeat with the second roll and the remaining sandwich fixings.

Fold both pieces of the rolls up to make the sandwich and cut in half diagonally.

Serve with pickles, chips or even pretzels!
