Description

Super easy and kid friendly! This recipe is great for those nights when you are short on time and creativity. Adapt it to your liking with whatever you want for toppings!

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Garlic Texas Toast
  • 1 cup Pizza Cheese, Shredded
  • 16 pieces Pepperoni
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce

Preparation

1. Bake Texas toast (you will need 2 per sandwich) according to package directions.

2. When it’s done, take the Texas toast out of the oven and top a piece with shredded cheese and pepperoni. Place another piece of Texas toast on top of the toppings. Grill in the panini press or on the stove in a pan over medium heat just until the cheese is melted.

3. Serve with warmed pizza sauce.

This was a homerun with my family! So filling and yummy, especially served next to a bowl of steaming tomato soup seasoned with garlic and Italian seasoning. I had to make a second sandwich for my 8 year old he loved it so much. Great recipe and so easy!
