		<description>I burned some of the bacon pieces and was afraid it would ruin the dish, but no....it was still fantastic!  It was very flavorful, even though I didn&#039;t use the wine.  And, no, as other reviewers have pointed out this is not a low-fat dish but this is a classic and it just wouldn&#039;t be carbonara if you took out the fattening good stuff.  I just had it for dinner and I plan to eat it for breakfast.  Another reason it gets five stars--my 3 year-old loved it!</description>

		<description>This recipe is delicious, don&#039;t get me wrong... I just think it could use a little &quot;sprucing up&quot;. 

While I was making the pasta recipe I roasted some asparagus in the oven, with some Montreal steak seasoning on top. 

Just as everything was coming together, I sliced the asparagus down to 1&quot; pieces. I mixed it in while I was tossing the pasta. YUM! 

My official rating of this recipe would be 3.5 mitts. It&#039;s just soooo heavy and rich! And fattening! Holy moly, my waistline is crying as I type... 

Alas, it&#039;s very delicious!!! 

Try it, you&#039;ll like it!</description>

I was a little dubious when it was coming together, especially because the pale sauce was looking kind of sickly under my hideous kitchen fluorescent lights (I didn&#039;t have any parsley)... but oh my gosh! Rich and creamy and delicious. The leftovers 2 days later were also amazing. I definitely recommend using the parsley to help it look more colorful.</description>

Still felt it needed more vegetables than just the parsley and the sauce wasn&#039;t thick enough because you are asked to put in so much chicken broth.  Will make again with less chicken broth and green beans or zucchini.  Sadly, my husband thought it was bland (except for the tasty bacon), but he&#039;s not really a white sauce guy.
