Description

Chicken breasts coated in a crunchy layer of panko breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 dash Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2  Eggs, Beaten
  • 4  Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese
  • Cooked Spaghetti, To Serve

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF. In a shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. In another shallow bowl, add eggs.

Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs and then coat both sides with the breadcrumb mixture. Arrange the chicken breasts on a baking sheet.

Bake 30 minutes. Top with marinara sauce and provolone cheese. Bake additional 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Serve with spaghetti.

yum Yum Yum! this was so good i want to make it all the time now. I eat a lot of spaghetti anyway but this is a great way to mix it up.

My whole family loved this! Next time I’ll probably cut back the amount of breadcrumbs. I threw out as much as I used. Will definitely be making this again!
