Description

Sauce ingredients can be adjusted to your own taste. For example, my hubby doesn’t like onions, so I usually use a little of the dried mince onions instead and sometimes I add minced garlic.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Country Style Ribs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, Plus More For Seasoning Ribs
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper, Plus More For Seasoning Ribs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, Plus More For Seasoning Ribs
  • ½ cups Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard

Preparation

Cut ribs into serving size pieces and season with additional salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Brown ribs on all sides and transfer to a baking dish. Cook onions in 2 tablespoons of fat from the skillet until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs and bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
