Description

This is a really easy way to prepare tilapia. The recipe calls for dried chervil (or parsley), making it a great dinner option when you don’t have fresh herbs in the house. And it’s fast too. From start to finish, you can have this dish on the table in about 30 minutes. It’s a must try.

Ingredients

  • 8  Tilapia Fillets (fresh Or Thawed)
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • ¼ teaspoons Dried Chervil Or Parsley

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place fish fillets into the dish in a single layer, overlapping the fillets slightly if needed. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Put butter into a small dish and melt it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Once melted, stir in lemon juice. Pour the lemon butter over the fillets.

Bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until the internal temperature in the thickest part of the of the fillet reaches 140 F. Remove casserole dish from oven and sprinkle fillets with dried chervil and allow it to rest 5 minutes before serving.

Note: Chervil is a delicate herb related to parsley. Parsley can be substituted.
