Description

Last night I worked a long day and didn’t feel like cooking from scratch. I stopped at the store, picked up a rotisserie chicken, frozen peas and a tub of Philadelphia cooking cream and came up with this quick easy dinner. My kids devoured it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Uncooked Orzo Pasta Cooked To Al Dente According To Package Directions
  • 2-½ cups Shredded Rotisserie Chicken
  • 2 cups Frozen Peas
  • 1 container (10 Oz. Size) Philadelphia Cooking Cream Herb And Cheese
  • ½ cups Grated Monterey Jack Or Mozerella Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cook pasta to al dente according to package directions in salted, boiling water. While pasta is cooking, remove meat from the rotisserie chicken and set aside. When pasta is done, remove from heat and drain. Add pasta to a small casserole dish. Add frozen peas, shredded chicken and cooking cream to the pasta. Stir to combine. Top with cheese and place in the 350ºF oven and cook for 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted. I served this with fresh steamed asparagas and a green salad.
