Description

An orange teriyaki marinade with a spice rub creates extremely juicy and tasty grilled pork chops. These are ready in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4  Pork Chops (bone-in Or Boneless)
  • 2 teaspoons Wimpy's Spice Rub, Or Spice Rub Of Choice
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • ½ teaspoons Fresh Ginger
  • ½ cups Orange Juice
  • 3 Tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Sprinkle pork chops with Wimpy”s spice rub. Set aside.

Warm a saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil. Add onions, garlic, and ginger until translucent, about 2 minutes.

Add orange juice, teriyaki sauce, honey, and pepper. Stir about 1 minute to melt the honey.

Remove from heat. Split sauce in half. Use half for sauce on the chops and other half to use as a side sauce for serving.

Let cool slightly then add one half of the orange teriyaki mixture to a blender. Blend until smooth.

Preheat grill to medium heat. Place spice-rubbed pork chops on heated grill for about 4 minutes and turn pork chops. Mop the blended orange teriyaki sauce on the pork chops and cook until cooked through, about 18 minutes total, turning regularly and being careful not to burn chops.

Serve with remaining orange teriyaki sauce.
