Tasted great, but if you are like me (work 2 jobs have little ones every where) there were too many dishes to wash. So I will be making this again when 1 of these 2 things happen: 1) My boys are old enough to do dishes or 2) I get a dishwasher! ha ha ha! All in all the recipe is great!!! My 3 year old loved it!

This was fantastic!
The variety of citrus in the sauce (overwhelmingly orange, but you can still taste a hint of lime and lemon) was wonderful, really added a nice roundness.

I didn't get a chance to make the fried rice, just had this over regular basmati rice, and it was delicious.

We loved it!
I also loved how simple this was to make at home, with pretty standard ingredients (nothing I don't already have/ can't find in my grocery store).

Definitely making this again!

I made the orange chicken part of the recipe tonight and it was a big hit.

I sauteed the chicken instead of frying it to keep it slightly on the healthier side but followed the directions for the sauce and it was amazing. Tart and sweet and delicious. I wanted to take a spoon to the leftovers in the sauce pot.

I really loved this sauce! I used red pepper flakes instead of the red chiles and added the zest of 1 orange instead of the strip. I may make this just to use up leftover rice!

I made this for the Chinese New Year and it was awesome. The orange chicken sauce was better than I had in some restaurants. The rice was very good too, but didn't follow that recipe as closely as the chicken.

This recipe is such a snap! I love it. My husband loves the flavor of the orange glaze. Sometimes I just make the fried rice alone because it's so quick, easy & flavorful! Love this!

I've made this twice now and it was great both times! The first time I used ground ginger, and the second I used fresh. I think either works.

I posted this a few months ago but with the reset of the reviews I wanted to make sure you got the credit you deserve for this recipe. My review (which can also be found in the comments section) is below.

I made this for dinner earlier. It was wonderful. I did tweak it a bit so it fit our taste more. I made the orange chicken as directed with some extra orange zest for flavor; I had to leave out the dried red chilies because our local grocery store was sold out. I had trouble getting the orange sauce to thicken so I threw it in a frying pan on medium heat with the chicken and let it simmer until thick. I steamed some mixed vegetables and added them to the orange chicken (while still in the frying pan) to coat it with sauce. I then served the orange chicken and vegetables over white rice. This is definitely a recipe that I will be adding to my arsenal!

Update: I've made this several times since I originally posted my review and continue to love this recipe. It is quickly becoming a family favorite. I've learned to cut the chicken earlier so I don't spend so much time prepping at dinner time. I also cut the veggies that I use throughout the day or (if I'm in a crunch) steam some frozen veggies and toss them in. Regardless of the veggies I use it always turns out wonderful. My husband loves it, my daughter loves it, and I love it!
