Description

Turkey breast, avocado, tomato, bacon, Provolone cheese and homemade basil mayonnaise piled high on Texas toast and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BASIL MAYONNAISE:
  • 2 teaspoons Basil Paste
  • ⅓ cups Mayonnaise
  • FOR THE PANINI:
  • 4 slices Thick Sliced Bread, Such As Texas Toast
  • 2 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 2 slices (Thin Slices) Tomato
  • 6 slices Avocado
  • 6 strips Bacon, Cooked And Crispy
  • 8 slices Turkey, Thickly Cut
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (for Grilling)

Preparation

For the basil mayonnaise:
Add basil paste to mayonnaise, stir well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

For the panini:
On the inside of each slice of bread, evenly spread 1 teaspoon of the basil mayonnaise. For the bottom half of each sandwich, lay a slice of Provolone cheese, sliced tomato, 3 slices of avocado, 3 slices of bacon and 4 slices of turkey. Add top piece of bread.

Spread 1/2 Tablespoon of softened butter on top and bottom pieces of bread. Grill until golden brown on both sides.
