Description

This is less like a recipe and more like a strong suggestion: put chips in your sandwich. You’ll become an addict.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Your Favorite Bread
  • 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 6 slices Cucumber
  • ½ whole Ripe Avocado
  • 3 slices Your Favorite Cheese

Preparation

Here’s the way I’ve been eating it … and I seriously can’t stop cause I’m addicted. Hence the name “nicotine sandwich.” For me it should actually be called “caffeine sandwich.” Or, “grapefruit-martini-that-my-husband-makes sandwich.”

I use whole wheat bread and spread a little mayo on one slice. Then I take half of a really ripe avocado and mash it on the other slice of bread. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on the avocado side. Then I add a few slices of good aged cheddar, some cucumber, and a handful of my favorite chips.

Start putting chips on your sandwiches! You won’t be able to stop.

I used to do this, too! And I would put my fries on my burgers when I was a kid!! I’ll have to revisit the taste soon…

Oh yes! I’ve done this since I was little! The best was bbq potato chips or cheese Doritos on a tuna fish sandwich!
