Description

If your kids or grandkids watch iCarly on Nickelodeon, then they know this recipe! Carly’s brother Spencer makes this dish for her, as it is her favorite. My daughter Hannah loves the show and when I told her I could make it, she said it was fake because it was on television. I have to tell you, these are delicious! DH and kids loved them! They were delicious. You need to give these a try. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef, Cooked And Drained
  • 12 ounces, weight Spaghetti, Cooked And Drained
  • 26 ounces, weight Spaghetti Sauce
  • ⅛ ounces, weight Dry Italian Dressing Seasoning Packet
  • 1 package (about 5 Oz. Package) Crunchy Taco Shells
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Brown ground beef in a pot and drain. While draining, boil spaghetti in the same pot for 9-11 minutes or until done. Drain.

Add the beef back into the pot and add Italian seasoning mix and stir well into the meat. Add the sauce and mix into the meat, followed by the spaghetti and simmer until warm.

Bake taco shells at 325 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until warm.

Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the warmed taco shells and top with parmesan cheese if desired.

I tried this recipe a few months ago. The kids were soooo excited when I told them what we were having. It was great! We all had fun eating it. And better yet, now there is this: http://www.delish.com/food/recalls-reviews/spaghetti-tacos-icarly-trend#apicomments. So congrats on being ahead of the curve.:)

I just made these tonight. They were oddly satisfying! All three of my girls ate them…which is quite the miracle!

This was a hit with the 7 year old. She actually had seconds! That never happens. Thanks for making me a hero (for a night). I thought it was good too – just have to get over preconceived notions of what food should be.

My daughter loves iCarly. I’ll have to make these for her-I’m sure she and my husband will get a kick out of them!

I made these for dinner last night because my kids are huge fans of iCarly. they were a total hit and have been deemed a keeper in our arsenal of recipes. they are a little messy, but that is what forks and napkins were made for. they were very easy to make and very tasty. using canned spaghetti sauce gives you so many options too since there are so many flavors out there these days. i also broke the spaghetti noodles in half before i cooked them and they seemed to fit into the taco shells fairly easy.
