Description

This is a delicious one dish meal. It can also be done with chicken. You can also use stuffing or rice, or even pasta if you prefer.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork Chops (bone-in Or Boneless)
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 bag Shredded Swiss Cheese (or 6 Slices)
  • 2 boxes Any Flavor Stuffing (6 Ounce Boxes Or Homemade)
  • 2 cans (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 1-½ cup Sour Cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F

Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in bottom of a sprayed 13×9 pan. Sprinkle 2/3 of the shredded Swiss cheese onto pork chops (or 1 slice onto each chop).

Empty stuffing into large bowl. Using wooden spoon, add water slowly until stuffing is just barely moist. Spread stuffing around edges of pan, with only a thin layer over pork chops. You may need an additional 8×8 pan for the extra – just do a stuffing only pan. Sprinkle rest of Swiss cheese over stuffing.

Mix Cream of Mushroom soup and sour cream in another bowl until well combined. Spread over entire top of both pans in an even layer.

Cover pans with tinfoil and bake for 30 minutes. Take foil off and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Depending on your oven, and thickness of your chops (or chicken, if you use that), this dish may take up to an hour and 15 minutes to bake. The thinner the better when it comes to the meat.
