Description

This is the meatloaf I grew up with. It’s easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE MEATLOAF:
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1-½ cup Ground Beef
  • 1  Egg
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Freeze Dried Onions
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ cups Ketchup
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Water

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl add breadcrumbs to milk and let the mixture stand for a few minutes. Then add beef, egg, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and onion and mix to combine. Shape and put into a loaf pan that you’ve sprayed with Pam.

Combine ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and water in a small bowl. Pour over meatloaf.

Bake at 350 F for 1 1/2 hours.
