Description

Turkey burgers with a little Mexican kick!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE PATTIES:
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
  • 4 ounces, weight Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2-¼ teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • ¾ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • _____
  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 4 whole Buns (Whole Wheat)
  • 1 whole Tomato, Sliced
  • 1 whole Avocado, Sliced
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise

Preparation

Mix everything in a large mixing bowl and form into 4 patties. Cover and let rest in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Heat a grill and cook each burger for about 6 minutes on each side. Serve with whole wheat buns, tomato, avocado and Monterey or pepperjack cheese and a smear of mayo!
