Description

I love how the tomatoes pop out in taste. I can almost convince myself it’s healthy. It’s great for leftover lunches too, or even to freeze. My family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 dashes Taco Seasoning
  • 2 dashes Garlic Salt
  • 1 package Macaroni Noodles
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (some Have Gotten Flavorful, Try Them All)
  • 1 block Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Brown the ground beef with the taco seasoning and garlic salt. Drain fat.

Boil noodles with salt until al dente.

Cut block of cheese up in small squares.

Toss noodles, beef, diced tomatoes, and sharp cheddar cheese together in a pot.

Pour mixture into 13 x 9 baking dish, cover with shredded cheese, bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees. I love a little brown cheese on top, but just so long as it is melted, you are good.

Great for leftovers, if you have any.

Made this for my crew, who are sick of chili and spaghetti. This was just different enough that I got away with ground beef one more night of the week. A definite hit! Thanks for sharing it!

Way to go with this recipe! It was a hit at our house too. I loved how easy it was to make. As usual for me, not the result of the recipe it is just me, I added some things like a can of green chilis and a smidgen of cumin. Excellent. Oh, and I only added 8oz of cheese. Definately will make this again, especially during winter:) Thanks for sharing.

My family loved this! It was soooo quick, easy, and yummy. I changed this up just a bit, and was very happy with the result. I added 1 tsp of onion, used ditalini instead of macaroni, and used Southwest seasoning instead of taco seasoning. This recipe has made it into my recipe binder (not an easy feat).
