This is a quick and easy weeknight pasta dish that the whole family will enjoy. Just add a colorful vegetable such as steamed broccoli to serve along with it to complete a healthy meal. It makes a yummy leftover lunch the next day.

This pasta is soooooo good! Its very refreshing and is a great dish to quickly throw together on a week night. I sauteed some onions and mushrooms in a pat of butter and added that to the chickpea/olive oil mixture and also added some chopped fresh basil at the end before serving.

I love putting chickpeas in my pasta…now I know I’m not the only one who does that. Great idea putting the lemon, capers and hot sauce in it too!
