  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons Minced Shallots
  • 4 whole Burger Buns
  • 4 leaves Butter Lettuce
  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese Or Your Favorite Cheese
  • FOR THE TZATZIKI MAYONNAISE:
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons Sour Cream
  • ¼ cups Finely Chopped Cucumber
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Dill
  • ¼ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons Pepper

Preparation

Prepare grill by preheating it on high heat.

Next mix ground lamb, spices, and shallot in a medium-sized bowl. Shape into burger patties. Grill for 6 minutes on the first side and 5 minutes on the second side for a medium well burger.

Toast burger buns and place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun. Top with a slice of cheese and then the burger. Top the burger with a dollop of the tzatziki mayonnaise.

To make the tzatzik sauce, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, cucumbers, lemon juice, dill, oregano garlic powder, salt and pepper. Keep refrigerated until serving.

This is a fresh, healthy, grilled go-to dinner. Pairs well with a Greek salad.
