Description

This chili is the perfect warm-me-up for a cold winter night. Freeze the leftovers, too!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 Oz. Size) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces, fluid Chicken Broth Or Stock
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • ½ Tablespoons Cumin
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1  Medium Yellow Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1-½ pound Ground Lamb
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans, Drained
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Sauce (or Any Hot Sauce Will Do)
  • 2  Handfuls Of Chocolate Chips
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar Cheese, To Serve

Preparation

Add crushed tomatoes, chicken stock and spices into crockpot. Also add salt and pepper, to taste. (Note: Feel free to add more or less of the cumin or chili powder. This chili should be as spicy/savory as you want it to be!)

Meanwhile, saute onion and garlic in a frying pan until onions are just about translucent. Add lamb and brown. Drain off the fat. Add mixture into crockpot. Set on low for 6-8 hours.

About 1/2 hour before serving, add black beans, chocolate chips and sriracha.

Serve in a large bowl and top with shredded cheese (or whatever else you like on your chili!). Freeze the leftovers for a future dinner. It tastes just as good later!
