Description

Weekends were meant for relaxing. Let your grill — and Bush’s Grillin’ Beans — take care of the work. With just four ingredients and some well-deserved lounging, this is as laid back as it gets!

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bush's Bourbon And Brown Sugar Grillin' Beans (22 Oz. Can)
  • 4 whole (1" Thick) Pork Chops
  • Seasoned Salt, To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Have your grill filled with charcoal and ready. Light the charcoal 20 minutes prior to grilling.

Meanwhile, open a can of Bush’s Bourbon and Brown Sugar Grillin’ Beans; pour into a saucepan and heat on the stove over low heat, stirring occasionally. If desired, beans may be warmed in a disposable tinfoil pan placed on the grill over indirect heat (after you turn the pork chops). Doing this means less running to the kitchen, and less dishes — that’s the whole idea here!

Trim visible fat from chops. (Do not discard the fat; save trimmings for Ree’s dogs.) Sprinkle chops with seasoned salt — we use Lawry’s — and pepper to taste. Keep it simple.

When the coals are ready, grill chops for 7 to 10 minutes per side, turning once, to desired doneness. (If in doubt, use a meat thermometer – 160F is done.)

Between grill duty, sit in a lawn chair. Sip an ice cold lemonade or a frosty mug of your favorite brew. Relax…

When the chops are done, dish up and enjoy!
