Description

My daughter helped make this lovely pizza. I figured since she works at a pizza joint I could let her help out. Excellent decision, excellent pizza.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 15 ounces, fluid Pizza Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Garlic Oil
  • 1 package (3-pack) Stone Baked Flatbread
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 cup Pepperoni, Shredded

Preparation

Preheat your BBQ. Put your flatbreads on cutting boards to make it easier to transport out to your BBQ.

In a bowl, mix sugar and pizza sauce.

Generously brush garlic oil over flatbreads. Generously spread the pizza sauce over the flatbreads. Spread your parmesan if you are using it. Spread your mozzarella cheese generously over the pizzas. Add your pepperoni over top.

Turn off half your grill burner so you get indirect heat on one side only.

Take the pizzas outside and place on indirect heat on your grill. Cook for about 5 to 8 minutes depending on your grill and how much stuff you piled on your pizzas.

Remove and slide onto a cutting board to bring inside easily. Cut into pieces.

Serve with a smile.

We totally loved this pizza on the grill! I loved how the bottom of the flat-bread was crispy. The only reason I gave it 4 in stead of 5 mitts is because my husband did not like the addition of sugar to the sauce. I used Contadina pizza sauce (15 oz) and maybe it already is sweetened enough but my husband requested this again without the sugar added. We just did pepperoni tonight but I’m definitely going to try it with different toppings! Yummy AND easy! Thank you!
