Description

A quick and easy pasta dish that comes together in the time it takes your water to boil.

Ingredients

  • ¾ packages (16 Oz. Package) Pasta, Your Favorite Shape
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Diced
  • 1 pound Sausage, Sweet Or Spicy, Turkey Or Pork
  • 1 head Kale, Roughly Chopped
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Cannellini Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • ½ cups Chicken Broth
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese
  • Black Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Choose your favorite pasta shape and boil in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, saute a diced onion, diced garlic cloves and spicy or sweet sausage—pork, turkey, whatever you enjoy. Cook until the sausage is no longer pink. Wash and roughly chop one large head kale. Add the chopped kale and drained and rinsed cannellini beans, plus the chicken broth. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Toss the pasta in the sauce mixture along with a good handful of parmesan cheese and black pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!

This is a winner! Fast, easy, makes a lot, and it’s really, really good! I’m so pleased to find a recipe with kale, too, because it’s super healthy. Thanks hailskitchen!
