My sister, a great cook, always goes the extra mile for her family. Homemade pizza is a family tradition. It’s easy and forgiving. Enjoy!
Dissolve yeast and sugar in water.
Add remaining ingredients. Knead for 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Put dough in a lightly sprayed pan. Let rise, covered, in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Roll out to desired thickness. Makes 2 thin 12 inch rounds, or 1 15×11 inch thicker crust pizza.
Top with favorite toppings. Cook on a pizza stone or grill. If on a pizza stone, heat stone for 20 minutes at 425 degrees. Remove stone, put dough on stone.
Top with sauce, toppings and cheese. Bake at 425 for 12-15, or until crust is medium brown.
