Description

Easy great recipe. Versatile and always turns out delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (7g Packet) Yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Flour

Preparation

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm (110-120F) water. Add remaining ingredients. Knead for 5 minutes. Put dough in a lightly oiled pan, turning to grease the top of the dough. Cover and let rise 1 hour, or until doubled in size. Roll out to desired size/thickness. Top with your favorite toppings. Bake at 425 degrees on a pizza stone for best results for about 12-15 minutes.

I made this last week and thought it was great. I’m a novice at dealing with yeast and this recipe is simple and produced great results with minimal fuss. I’ll certainly use it again.

I make this pizza dough all the time! Since discovering the recipe, we’ve started holding family pizza nights where everyone gets to choose what they want on their pizza. It also makes wonderful focaccia for appetizers -just layer on some veggies and skip the cheese. And it fries up nicely to make zeppole. Thanks for a nice, versatile recipe!

This was a pretty good crust. Nice and crisp on the outside, and the right texture on the inside. It’s also the perfect size for our family for one night of pizza. Thanks for sharing.
