Description

A delicious burger for those who like some spice and are tired of the everyday ground beef burgers.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 Oz. Package) Ground Hot Italian Sausage
  • 1 package (16 Oz. Package) Ground Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • ¼ cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • 4 Tablespoons Hickory Bbq Sauce
  • ½ Tablespoons Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley

Preparation

In a larger bowl, mix together all the ingredients. Then, form eight hamburger patties roughly around the size of your palm.

Cook burger till done. We used a skillet and it took about 12 minutes. First we seared the outsides of the burger on high heat, and then turned down the heat to medium-low to cook the rest.

Add whatever you like to the burger. We had cheese, sprouts, spinach, bacon, onions and ketchup.

We thought this was good, but it was too “italian sausagy” if that makes sense I think it would have been better made with 1/2 sausage and 1/2 ground beef.
