Description

An oldie but a goodie! You eat them with a fork and a knife.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Rye Bread, Buttered On One Side
  • 1 slice Deli Ham Or Turkey (if Thin Sliced, You May Want To Layer On A Few)
  • 1 slice Cheese (Any Kind Of Cheese - We Like American Or Swiss)
  • 8 spears Frozen, Slightly Cooked, Broccoli
  • ¾ cups Mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded Or Grated
  • 1 teaspoon Prepared Yellow Mustard (or To Taste. I Add A Little More.)
  • ½ teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Green Onions

Preparation

Put rye bread slices, buttered side up, on a shallow rimmed baking sheet. Top each with meat, cheese slice and 2 broccoli spears.

Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mustard and lemon juice, together. Spread evenly on top of sandwiches. Sprinkle with green onion.

Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
