Description

A family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Chicken Breasts
  • 4 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Style Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy Seeds
  • ½ teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

I’ve prepared this dish several ways – see below for 3 options.

Combine all ingredients except the chicken in a bowl. This is your sauce.

1. Bake chicken breasts for 30 minutes at 400 degrees (F) covered with foil. Drain any grease from the chicken, pour sauce over and bake for 10 minutes more or until juices run clear.

2. Marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before grilling or broiling (instructions below) or baking (instructions above).

3. Grill (over medium-high flame) or broil chicken for approximately 25 minutes then brush with the sauce and cook 5 minutes more.
