Description

This is a very quick easy and tasty weeknight dinner. Takes 5 minutes to put together and 25 minutes to bake. Great with rice and a salad!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • ½ cups Honey
  • ½ cups Prepared Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Parsley
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Trim chicken, dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.

In a small bowl combine honey, mustard, basil, paprika and parsley, stir to combine.

Pour half the sauce over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes flip the chicken over and pour on the rest of the sauce. Bake another 10-15 minutes until chicken cooked through.

Serve with rice.

This recipe was quick, easy, and had great flavor. My only complaint is that I ended up having to bake it for 45 minutes, and that was after cranking up the oven to 425. It could be that my oven was on the fritz, or more time may be needed to get the chicken actually cooked through. (I always use a meat thermometer to check).

My husband wouldn’t eat it- he said it had a very strange taste and I have to agree although I didn’t find it as inedible as he did. Three stars for ease of preparation and the simple ingredients though.

This was fantastic – had just the right amount of flavor, and the chicken came out very tender. Served it with green beans and mashed potatoes… perfect! Husband and I both finished every last morsel.

Very tasty and very easy. I didn’t have any chicken breasts, so I used thighs. We all really liked this – will definitely make again. Thanks.
