Description

I love anything sweet and savory! This produces tender, juicy pork chops that have a sweet and tangy sauce that is irresistable!

Ingredients

  • 8 whole Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • ¼ cups Butter, Melted
  • ½ cups Honey
  • ¼ cups Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. Salt and pepper pork chops on both sides and dredge in flour. Shake off excess flour. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and coat the bottom of a skillet with oil. Brown chops on both sides until golden brown. In a sauce pan, combine butter, honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Place pork chops in a 9 x 13 baking pan and pour sauce over the top of the chops. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.

Excellent! Boyfriend requested I use a little less honey next time (he’s not a big fan of the sweets). Will definitely make this again :-)

Making these for dinner tonite, they sound wonderful. Pennymarie I’m going to use your idea of the cast iron skillet too, save myself one extra pan! Thanks ladies.

Soooo good! I cooked these tonight using pork chops with bones and they turned out absolutely delicious. My Dad’s a picky sort and my brother doesn’t like “change” in cooking, but both of them thought they were quite tasty. I didn’t baste or flip them, but they turned out juicy and zingy.

Thanks Penny! I think it’s pretty much fool proof. I’m glad it turned out and that your family enjoyed it!

Delicious! I took the lazy way out and browned my chops in a cast iron frying pan, so that I could use the same pan to bake them in the oven. I forgot to baste them, but I believe I did flip them half-way through cooking, and they were still awesome! Both kids (ages 1.5 & 3.5) loved ‘em!

This was very easy and was just what my family needed for tonight’s dinner! I didn’t have enough lemon but it worked out just fine. We ate it with broccoli and mashed potatoes…I served it with macaroni noodles for the kids.
