Description

Delicious French bread pizza made at home. Just like Stouffer’s, but better!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Whole Grain French Bread
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 ounces, weight Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil
  • 1 whole Tomato, Sliced

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. Slice baguette in half, lay on a baking sheet, and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes so bread can get crispy. Remove bread, add oil, garlic, cheese, basil and tomatoes and place back in the oven for 10 minutes. Broil for 1 minute to get cheese brown and bubbly.

This is a simple white pizza, but you can also make pepperoni and sausage, buffalo chicken, bbq chicken, Tex-Mex, or a favorite pizza of your choice!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating a recipe that comes out making me look like an amazing cook even though I only spent a few minutes in the kitchen. This was a life saver after I came home from the hospital with our second baby. I was ready to cook again, but just didn’t have the time to spend. My 4 year old loved it too, although I made his pepperoni!
