The classic sandwich turned into a pizza. Let me say this could be one of my favorite pizzas to date.

I can honestly say this fresh pasta recipe works every time. It rolls out beautifully, tastes great, doesn’t blow up in the water, doesn’t break when you make ravioli and the dough can be made ahead and kept in the refrigerator!
I make pasta a lot, mostly ravioli. I make a bunch and freeze them and it makes getting dinner on the table so easy! Feel free to substitute spinach, basil, chard or kale … but ramps are in season!

I am going to have to try this version. I have always made a gravy with butter, flour and chicken stock firt then adden the dumpling. It is far healthier to let the flour just thicken up the stock.
We have been “off” dumplings since my husband cholesterol came back 247!!!! I’ll try this version this week.
I also add frozen peas at the end for just a little something extra.

I tried this over the weekend. Unfortunately the dumplin’s didn’t cook long enough before I put in the chicken, and were still too doughy. But overall the taste was great and I plan to try it again and let the dumplins’ cook longer before adding the chicken. Thanks for sharing!

Simple and delicious. I added a cup of frozen peas at the end.

I just made this, wasn’t too difficult. I usually buy the frozen dumplings. I did add a very small amount of butter to the gravy. Tastes really good, thanks.

This was a really yummy dish to make. Very easy and loved how the dumplings where thin squares rather than big fat drops!! Great, will make again!!

Like several other commenters have said, I was looking for a chicken and dumplings recipe that would live up to my memories as a child. This one is both easy and tasty! I really like the thin dumplings and the clear instructions on how to make them. I did add 1/2 tsp. of poultry seasoning and some pepper to the broth as well as a chopped carrot prior to dropping in the dumplings. My kids loved the end result as much as I did.
