Description

Just like we had growing up! This is a classic and always loved by all.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Egg
  • ¾ cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter, Melted
  • 16 ounces, weight Elbow Pasta
  • Salt And Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a large bowl, beat egg and milk together. Add cheese and melted butter to milk mixture and stir.

Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salted water for 5 minutes or until about halfway cooked. Drain.

Pour pasta into a 9×13 baking dish or casserole. Pour cheese mixture over the pasta.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper and give it a good stir. Press mixture to evenly fit in the dish.

Bake for 35 minutes or until the top starts to get brown and crunchy. My husband loves the crunchy part on top so sometimes I even stick it under the broiler for a couple of minutes. Enjoy!
