Description

So easy! Put this in the crockpot in the morning and you have supper when you come home!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • ½ whole Onion, Diced
  • 24 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cans Chili Beans (15 Oz Each)
  • 2 cans Enchilada Sauce (10 Oz Each)
  • 1-½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper
  • 2 bags Fritos Corn Chips (9 Oz Each)
  • 3 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 head Lettuce Chopped
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced
  • 1 carton Sour Cream (16 Oz)
  • 2 whole Tomatoes, Chopped

Preparation

Brown ground beef (add onion if you want). Once the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, drain off the fat. Then, add all the canned ingredients (tomato sauce, beans and enchilada sauce) and the spices. Cook in the crockpot on low for 8 hours.

To serve, each person puts some Fritos on their plate, then layer with the chili mixture and some cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onion and sour cream.

I have to make this. I love good crock-pot recipes.
The name of the recipe caught my eye because in my family haystacks were a candy my mom made every Christmas.
