Description

This recipe is known by all the people that have lived in my hometown. Kids that move away have their parents bring it to them. Our local grocery began selling the ham loaf already mixed to save homemakers time in the 70’s.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Ham
  • 1 pound Ground Pork
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 3 whole Eggs (large)
  • 1-½ cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 can Tomato Soup
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Vinegar

Preparation

Mix the first 5 ingredients together and shape into a loaf. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over the loaf in the pan. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Baste sauce over meat while cooking. Test for doneness.

Meat can also be made ito balls, browned and placed in the sauce. Cook in a covered pan on the stove for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or bake in the over for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
