This one’s a staple in our house now, but we like it with tilapia! Always looking for kid friendly recipes and this is wonderful!

Delicious and easy. The only change I made was to use Cod since that’s what I had on hand. Added some spaghetti squash to the very bottom of the dish to soak up that extra sauce!

We enjoyed this last week for dinner, and it will definitely be a staple in this house from now on. Super simple, and this time around we used fresh sockeye salmon. Even my 1-yr-old and 3-yr-old gobbled it up! Thanks for sharing!

This dish was so easy to pull together and had tons of flavor! The sauce was divine. We will definitely be making this again!

This dish is so awesome! It is my hubby’s and mine favorite fish recipe now. I’ve made it exactly like the recipe, and it was delish. Also, to make it lower in Weight Watcher points, I cooked it in my steamer with some salt and pepper and then used half the oil called for in the recipe to make the sauce in a fry pan. Love it!

This looks yummy! My husband is not a big fan of capers though (I am!)–would you have any other suggestions of a substitute? We all love asparagus thankfully!

I love both chicken and pork picdata, never thought to try it with fish! We especially love the zing of the capers.

Marywether, sadly, my husband isn’t a fan of capers either.
To maintain the briny, tart flavor that capers have, you could add some chopped green olives instead.
To replace the “caper flavor” completely–but still maintain their texture–you could try adding some chickpeas, green peas or sauteed pine nuts.
I hope that helps. Let me know if/what you try and how it works out!

This was excellent! I went a different direction with the asparagus; I roasted it in the oven (425 for 15 minutes) with olive oil, sliced garlic & s/p. The combination of the asparagus & fish was fantastic. Thanks for a great recipe!

It’d be awesome if you could add a ranking to my recipe.

I made this tonight and it was excellent. Went together very quickly, a weeknight dish that looks and tastes like Saturday night at a fancy restaurant. Had to substitute fresh green beans for the asparagus for my husband, but plated it just like you did, added a few roasted new potatoes on the sides. I did add a touch of heavy cream at the very end. Believe it or not my store did not have good parsley so I added fresh tarragon which gave it a hint of a bearnaise sauce flavor but the lemon and capers totally put it over the top!

Does this work best with halibut or do you think I could substitute any white fish? I have some tilapia in the freezer that I’m looking forward to eating.
