Description

I love tuna steaks. Marinated, seared, big, fat, juicy, tuna steaks. Last night, I put the steaks in an Asian style marinade, but you could use whatever marinade you would like!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Tuna Steaks
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce (I Use Reduced Sodium)
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Ginger, Minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (you Could Also Use Sriracha)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard

Preparation

Whisk together all ingredients (except tuna steaks), pour marinade over tuna steaks. Let the tuna marinate for 30 minutes to one hour.

Preheat grill to 400 degrees. Make sure grill grates are clean, then spray with cooking spray if necessary.

Sear tuna for 2 – 3 minutes on each side, depending on desired done-ness.
